Founded in 2023, Chanctonbury Wines is a joint venture of Rob & Beth Maynard.

Rob has almost 20 years experience in the hospitality and wine industry, having held positions at prominent local restaurant groups and merchants including the Ginger Man Group and Butlers Wine Cellar. Perhaps most notably as a founding partner in Hove’s Wild Flor restaurant, which has held national acclaim for it’s wine list since opening in 2019.

Beth has nearly a decade of experience working with Directors of SMEs. She heads up the business side of CW, running operations, administration and finance for the company and accompanying Rob on the odd event (when childcare for our two young sons allows!).

We aim to bring real quality to one of England’s loveliest high streets. Having grown up in the area, we recognise the demand for quality venues, providing a higher level of product and service.
