From Pepe Raventos' excellent Can Sumoi project, showcasing the capability of high altitude old vineyards in Penedes. Elegant but powerful, there's a saline grip to this Xarel-Lo, traditionally used for Cava manufacture. A bracing wine that feels like its altitude, but with enough fruit on the palate to be really rather friendly.
